    Hi Members.

Here is an update on the improvements that we have been working on both the main site and Social Hangar Forum. Sorry, for not sending update earlier, and for creating some confusion.

    Main Site:
We moved the Airnation.net site, to a new Hosting provider and switched the domain name to Airnation.com. There is always traffic decline with Domain changes, but we felt it was worth the effort. We still need to do some improvement i.e. site speed etc.

    Forum:
Social Hangar was attached to the old site. We have since separated the Forum, and moved it under its own Domain name (Socialhangar.net). The Forum and main site are linked to each others through the Menu buttons "Social Hangar" and "Home". From members stand point, there is no change....except you will notice the new domain address.
This will allow the Social Hangar Forum to scale and grow independently from the site (it now has its own dedicated resources i.e. CPU and storage).

The confusion we created was that, after the changes were done a few weeks ago, we routed Airnation.net to Airnation.com. We assumed users would find the new Forum there. However, we didn't route "Airnation.net/hangar" to the new Forum. So, most members continued to use the old address, but we had others who created new threads in the new Forum (mostly videos). This created a dilemma for us, since new content existed into two different instances of the Forum (...impossible to merge the two Forums). We have moved the database again to the new Forum, and fixed the address routing. Unfortunately, that meant the new videos that were added to the new site in the last few weeks are not in the new and improved Forum.
We are still trying to figure out if we can bring all content, under the same roof.

    Clear as mud?
In any case, we still have a few things to do.

We would really appreciate your feedback and advice for the new site.

Thanks and we will keep you posted.

So it looks like logging onto "Airnation.com" and selecting "Social hangar" from the top bar will give the same result as logging onto "Socialhangar.net" directly. (This post should be accessible either way)

Indeed it is; and "Airnation.net" is forwarded to "Airnation.com"
Just need to change the bookmarks and we are good to go!

    That is correct Biggles.
There is no need to navigate to socialhangar.net. The Forum is accessible from Airnation.com, as you described.
    Thanks for your feedback.
