    The last time that I flew United - and it may be the last time ever - we sat aboard an A320 at the gate at O'Hare for an hour and 40 minutes before we pushed back from the gate. The explanation - which came more than an hour into the wait - was that there were about half the usual number of refueling staff on duty that night due to call-ins.

    I don't understand why United boarded the flight without any idea when the plane would be refueled.
