    This is from the golden age when pilots from WW1. we're still flying for the airlines. A four engine Constalation and Chesterfield Smooth were cool!

    Arthur Godfrey Knew Eddie Rickenbacker the President of Eastern back in the day.

    Mr. Godfrey had some nice friends. I flew a Beech Duke some years ago with registration 'N1M'. Not too many planes with a short registration like that. Mr. Godfrey had bought the plane new and transferred the N number from a Gulfstream1. The story was that the 'M' in the registration was to honor his son.
