...yep, 1200+ pages that nobody read. Empire building is alive and well with the "regulator"!! Five more years of it!!

So much for "draining the swamp"!!

Well they might not have read it and they passed it. So the Congress and the Senate ride on airlines all the time. I am glad they do not know what we know about the problems ahead for the airlines.

The layers of safety are long gone. So what could happen!?

Who removed the layers?? Congress?? The "regulator"?? The 5 year Reauthorization is another blank check for NextGen. No one knows how the drones will fit into the Airspace. The "regulator" will keep building the over bloated management while the field withers. They will hire more non aviation autitors to sit at the computer evaluating hazards. The carriers will continue to self regulate.

    No "draining the swamp" here!!

We all know the President has been busy lately. The mid term elections are around the corner. So the FAA swamp is on the list for draining however a big one will put it at the top!!!!

They have been lucky as management in the agency increases and qualified inspectors in the field decrease. Getting anything done is like pulling teeth. Forget about any certifications and flight testing. Operators have to wait or the FAA is now designating more and more check airmen for their own companies.

Yep the big one (or to) is coming .......unfortunatelyo_O

Just ask anyone in the field how much help they get from HQ now that the ROs are gone?? I bet not much help if any!! HQ is now double if not triple in sized while the field shrinks!!
