A company in China has just opened a big facility for recycling aircraft for their parts. I suppose this is away to get cheaper used parts that are airworthy.

Parts have a paper work trail and any company looking for recertified used parts is suppose to make sure the part is legal.

Where is the FAA on all this. Probably they do not want to know .

So here we go, cheap parts with paper work. IMO it is a situation that could be a problem and add to the Unapproved Parts problem.

Maybe or maybe not... !.....you be the judge

This "crap" will create havoc in aviation for years to come. Pencil whipped paperwork will mask the tracibility until the part fails and kills a hundred or so. The "regulator" can't oversee things now, why would anyone think they could look into a foreign country?? Maybe it's time for someone to head the "regulator" in a different direction?? Like do your frickin jobs!!

It is too easy to falsify paper working saying a part is airworthy. It will become a problem and even if a crash is traced to a facility that sold the part, what is it that they could do to a company in another country?

Maybe it's time for some biometric data that only manufacturers can put on the part?? Just like chipping an animal, the data can be uploaded from beginning to end no.data, no vaiid part.

As for punishment, there needs to be sentence handed down from the Special Police and Aviation Zar (SPAZ, FAA's twin) of an eye for an eye!!

Bogus parts are a problem. Taking apart old aircraft and selling parts could be dangerous

In doing this, they're giving away Western tech too. Follow the money. Obozo's policies took the FAA off/out of the global arena. Just in time for Chinese authorities to take over.

FAA shut all the International Field Offices. So it is wide open for questionable companies too cheat on maintnenance which means installing unairworthy parts and making big money, because it is all about the money!

How could we forget the former AFS-1 Margaret Gilligan that looked the other way on the FAA IFO closures. Now there are literally no inspections of foreign MRO maintnenance facilities.

But don't worry everyone. They don't need inspections because they won't use bogus parts and pencil wip heavy airliner inspections.

    Yeah right!o_O

Huerta was just an Obozo puppet. Did or didn't do exactly what he ordered, or else and he would have to deal with Hillary when she took over.:p
