...well, by the time they get around to it, the 5 year term will be done in 2024. Now, if the nomination decides to resign in 2023, the next one could be nominated before the "biggly one" leaves office!! Pretty slick!!

...very true. More after tomorrow to see where it goes from there.

Hear that he is coming from the Delta line and work his way up to VP. I hear that 800 Indy isn't real happy. They were counting on the acting to move up. So much for the revolving door.

...oh, the swamp is lining up for Dickson. Doubt he will clean up anything. There is a lot of glad handing and position manipulating going on at 800 Indy. These things usually don't work out well for the public. Along with the Reauthorization, the "regulator" will slow walk everything to show the displeasure of someone new in the sandbox if they can't turn to the "dark side"!!

More to come when the announcement comes.

With the lack of proper oversite on overseas facilities and the reduction of field personal, the agency is playing games with safety.

    The big one(s) is inevitable..........o_O

...just knowing what the direction is going, don't hold your breath. It took a loss of 189 people to get an emergency AD on the 737 Max. It took 2 years and someone being sucked half out of a window to get an inspection on a known engine blade problem. The "regulator" can't even do oversight on the mainland let alone overseas. The musical chairs are still being played in the new empire building management. Soon, there won't be anyone in the field to do oversight. Of course they will count on the operators to "police" themselves with SMS and compliance philosophy!! SAD!!
