Very strange. It use to the job of FAA security to do the enforcement. I remember years ago when the IG boys came to my home Twice with my permission to discuss my harassment case against the FAA.

Little did I know at the time that the fix was in at 800 Indy as the FAA manager had friends there the covered up his corruption. If I had a 100k to spend I "might" have had a better outcome.

It seems flight testing and all flight testing by inspectors in the FSDO's are being handed over to the private sector.

I can see FSDO's closing and more and more of FAA surveillance and oversight being given to the private sector.

As usual, it's draining from the bottom. All the dead driftwood is floating on the top!! Since 2016 there has been a 144 percent increase in management promotions and new management positions!!

... hopefully, the "biggly one" and Madam Secretary can strongly encourage the top tiers out and streamline the agency!! "K" banders and above don't contribute to the day to day safety. Anyone can do personnel management. A 5 to 1 ratio is unreasonable and needs to be addressed! Can bet that private industry doesn't have that low of a ratio. Management and the minions are just padding their retirement!!
