    I believe the 'core' engine(same motor as, but between those 2 booster motors that land together on pads) lands on a barge in the ocean further on down the line(after the 2 boosters separate and finishes its burn) somewhere outside of a 172's range lol, but they don't mention it nowadays, because it wasn't successful a few times before either.

    I think the center core landed successfully on their barge (called "I love you too")!
    There was one instance I was told, that after a successful landing the rocket fell off the barge before they had time to tie it down. The center section travels too far down range to return to the launch site.
