Following that thinking "Vintage" politicians should also be grounded my goodness what knows what would happen they might run amuck!!!!!

Last year while parking my car at the Poughkeepsie Galleria I heard and saw what looked like a Ford Tri-Motor flying overhead. I let my wife go into the mall and called the FAA Control Tower at POU and asked that a Ford Tri-Motor overhead or am I a hallucinating.

The gentleman that answered the phone was said "nope your not hallucinating that 's a Ford Trimotor and a real one too not a replica. We've enjoyed watching it all day. The pilot flew it down from Massena, NY and was told for twenty bucks I can get a 10 min ride in it. I was tempted to get in the car and head over to POU about a 5 min ride away but knew I would catch hell from my wife. That wasn't even on my bucket list but is now. I have some contacts at the FBO's there that if they ever hear of that guy coming back to visit us again let me know. Ground them indeed. Do they realize what painstaking work goes into the old birds to get them to fly and look like new?? They should stick to something they know. Err...just not sure what that is.

Interesting! Wow, that would be awesome to see a genuine Tri-Motor!

As for the Senators, etc. etc. sticking to something they know, well, that would be bloviating for hours on end. That’s all they know how to do.
