Sigh, so Foushee left something unflattering off his resume who hasn't done that. So the FAA hands over the entire certification process over to Boeing we can trust the manufacturer to be trustworthy right? The FAA just keeps digging a bigger hole for themselves to attempt to crawl out off. Good Luck!

Still waiting for the "biggly one" to drain the swamp. It seems like the revolving door keeps being left unlocked and the swamp refilled. The acting Administrator is a big Swamp creature and the AAE manager is the corrupt muscle for the swamp. Come on "biggly one", drain the swamp!! The top 3 levels of the "regulator" needs to be removed and replaced for their corrupt ways!!!

Well they can not hide the deaths of 346 people in two foreign aircrashes in the MAX.

Also a freight dog went in killing the pilots and one dude hitching a ride

Maybe Guy knows more on that one

    Three major crashes WTF happened?

    Who is responsible?

I think these fools believe if they retire it will all go away

I would love to get in front of a congressional hearing

I sure as hell will not mince any words

But so far nothing is happening

I wonder what Foushee and Scott Harding are doing?

I always kind the inaction of congress interesting. These people fly hundreds of times a year and think that nothing could happen to them.

I personally would be pissed at the FAA and clean out the agency if I was them

But, I suppose a high level politician has to die and they all will be outraged!

Sometimes, the swamp can grease the palms of Congress and make them forget the hazards that impact "we the people". It is obvious that 800 Indy doesn't care about safety, just managing risk. Since they have implemented the risk based data system, the accident numbers are going the wrong way. Of course those who instituted the RBDS are now retired. The rest of them have been through the revolving door.

So, if we are to believe that the "biggly one" is truly going to drain the swamp, the firing of the top tiers would be a start. It would be easy to do since the "regulator" failed to correctly certify the Max among other safety lapses.

    Drain the damn Swamp!!

The Atlas B-767 investigation is focusing on the jumpseater interfering with the controls either accidentally or on purpose.
This looks to be a case where side-sticks are better than yokes.
What I didn't mention yet is that the First Officer worked for me some years ago.
His daughter just graduated high school.

They should have the CVR info but there is nothing mentioned about this......probably because of the MAX crashes.....FAA is shell shocked and many are suddenly retiring?

It's tragic may they Rest In Peace. I read an article where the NTSB seems in the dark on the possibilities of what caused the crash, I read something about the elevator position when the plane hit the ground but wasn't clarified in the article. The CVR should reveal if a third party was involved, I know there was a Captain for Mesa Airways as United Express deadheading to IAH for assignment to United itself on the B737. Could this be another Fed Ex 705 in 1994 where the deadheading pilot was bent on committing suicide but prevented by the crew or was it an inadvertent move by the jump seat occupant that interfered with the landing. The NTSB must have some theories but like overshadowed by the MAX accidents. Haven't heard much on this tragedy at all. Curious.
