......bad times for aviation. One fatal accident after another. Why? Add six more to the fatal numbers

...the "biggly one" needs to clean house from the top!! The "regulator" is fudging the numbers to get their "bonuses"! Come October, shut it down!!

...250# weight limit in the back seat. Just stuff all the seats and close the door. Yep, the rules didn't prevent this crash. It's hard for the "regulator" to fudge this smoking crater with the crash numbers in order to get their bonuses!

Runway overruns are usually fatal. I went on a few but there was only a wrecked airplane and scratched up pilots that would live to fly another day! It is an all too common accident that continues to reoccur. Why? no one knows.

....maybe there is a fallacy on takeoff of, "i think I can, i think I can"? I wonder how many people were taught balanced field in GA? I can just imagine how "piggish" this bird had to be. It will be interesting to see how much over gross and/or aft CG it was.

One way to get to the "root" cause would be to interview the "instructor and examiner" for weaknesses. Maybe there is also a compound problem of a weak instructor and a "Santa Claus" examiner? Of course the "regulator" doesn't care as long as they get their bonuses!!

Nothing will change? When I ask some pilots what is VX or VY many have to think about it!?

Reported today that the owner was in the left seat. He was not licensed.

Maybe he was taking training? Tough on a fully loaded aircraft.

...it wouldn't be the first time an owner, after taking a few lessons, go out and show off their shiny new toy!! It's too bad that the passengers didn't realize the danger until it was too late!!

I never have trained with a fully loaded aircraft, unless the pilot was advanced enough to handle it and it was to show him the difference of a gross weight take off.

This crash is fast adding up to a high and hot accident over gross ......a sure killer!

...mark my words, the "regulator" will fudge the numbers to show a decrease in crashes by the end of September so they can get their bonuses.

...it appears to be a correlation between the change to SMS/SAS, compliance philosophy and the reorganizing of the "regulator" to the accident rate. Most feel the "rate" going up this year.

The bean counters will manipulate the numbers and show a decrease. This is easily done by manipulating the flight hours. The more flight hours, the less crashes per hour. They will say there is a decrease and claim their bonuses.

God bless the honest field offices and workers!

It is a classic accident. It keeps happening and happening year after year. What can be done to prevent these accidents? In a word nothing!

..maybe the "biggly one's" "great pilot" will figure a way to change the numbers?
