This is the plan to disband the FAA. No current or proficient inspectors in the field.

The Operations Inspector's job was always the hardest job. They had to have a current medical. They performed over 70% of the work to certify an operator. They gave check rides and 44708 revaluations of airmen.

The possibility of an accident while working as an operations inspectors is real and always on ones mind. An Operations inspector is a dangerous job and over the years many have been hurt or killed on the job.

The FAA is now eliminating the position and allowing it to go into the private sector.

Certifying a 135 or 121 operator is changing and most people have no idea what it takes to provide proper oversight on operators.

The result will be accidents and loss of life.

No one seems to care any longer !?

Why do many pilots drink or take drugs? The answer is above;)

It's pretty much dictated by congress in the Reauthorization section 303 (b) (2) (B).
