    In-flight break-up. :(
Notice the propeller in the driveway is missing a full blade.

Worst type of Aircrash. The aircraft crashing into houses and killing their occupants.......The NTSB has step in to conduct the investigation to find the cause. The FAA's part is to check 10 areas to see if the government is at fault. Usually the FAA rushes to the airport to impound the fuel to check for contamination. The pilot credentials and aircraft maintenance will be checked also. This was the part of the job I hated. Death and destruction and sometimes the cause was obvious with poor maintenance or a pilot not qualified.

It appears the pilot was alone in the aircraft and four on the ground were killed. Now the question will be was the pilot incapacitated?

Unfortunately, even with today's communications capability, it will be a year or more before the NTSB comes out with a cause.

There are a few brief videos caught by someone in the neighborhood and on the original News report and on the road you can see the fuselage falling free from a smoking part spiraling down in the closer one. It reached 700 ft then just ka blooey. Bet yer right. Threw a blade and the vibration just ripped the wing off. Wonder where that blade ended up. :(

...makes you wonder why the in-flight break up. The regulator might care on this one since people on the ground we're killed. Otherwise, it's just another number in the database. SAD!!

Reports say that the pilot had a stolen police badge from Chicago and fake retirement papers onboard.

Found a new video on YouTube that strongly suggests both engines were at power until impact.
    Incapacitation must be considered.
