The FAA claims that Boeing has misled the agency that the MAX 737 was not safe?

If that is so my question to the FAA would be is why didn’t the FAA know that the MAX was not safe. Did they check the Boeing data? Did anyone in the FAA look at the certification data? There had to be flight testing? Why did not the MCAS system problems show up in the testing?

FAA inspectors responsible for the MAX Certification according to earlier reports were told by management to accept Boeing data. In other words the FAA rubberstamped the Boeing Certification data!

Who in the FAA instructed the inspectors to accept the Boeing data as is!

Even if the FAA returns the MAX back to service, other countries will not accept the FAA findings. It seems countries do not trust the FAA!

This IMO is a serious situation as the FAA has lost it’s standing in the world as a safety organization.

The FAA “THE GOLD STANDARD” for the world seems to be no more.

The systemic toxic culture and agenda driven management has destroyed the FAA as a safety organization.

Unfortunately, the biggly one nominated one of the biggest revolving door special interest lobbyist as the Assistant Administrator. The other revolving door special interest lobbyist is the Associate Administrator for safety that came in under the last Administrator. The Safety Standards Executive has a past history with the manufacturer oversight. That's three levels that needs to be investigated. The succession planning will bring their minions up and the legacy will continue. The swamp of 800 Indy is deep.

    Drain the Swamp!!

It still amazes me that Congress and the Senate do nothing. After all they all fly regularly every week. I suppose when the wrong people die in a horrific aviation accident, something will be done!
