Is this the best offer?? Is this the compromise bill everyone was waiting for?? Will the "biggly one" sign it?? Will the "corrupt, empire building" continue??

...with 1,200 pages . there's not a lot of there, there. We'll see if the "biggly one" will rein in the "regulator"! It will take time to drain this swamp.

... having read a few pages, it the "biggly one" wants to show he's serious about cutting the size of government, this is his chance.. SAD!!!

... can't wait to hear the public howl over secton 577. All it says is the "regulator" will study minimum seat dimensions, not regulate it. Slick, Congress!!!

Wow Russ it is impossible to read and comprehend this bill. Even with my experience in aviation as a Pilot, Mechanic, former FAA inspector and a businessman, I find the bill all over the lot!

Something like a rudderless ship at night!

How could the President understand how the US Air transportation system is suppose to work looking at this Bill?

I think the whole thing should be scrapped and start over. Like the FAA should be restructured, since the FAA is not a safety agency or effective any longer.

    o_O...........WTF;)

...well, Rich, the empire building management has bent the ear of congress. Titles 2 and 3 are of interest. I have honestly spent 30 hours skimming over the 1200+ pages, highlighting the areas that could get someone in trouble.

You are right, it is practically impossible to read and comprehend. Just wait until the sky is filled with UAS. The day is coming. They are counting on people not reading the bill. If the "biggly one" wants to keep the government in check, he should veto the bill. There is only so much airspace that can be occupied at one time. Just wait until 2020.

    "Drain the Swamp"!!!

So no one will read it? Imagine the Congress and Senate looking at this!

They will have their staff read it and tell them what they think. It reminds me of Polosi's infamous statement on Obama care " We have to pass it to find out what's in it!".......

... meanwhile, the public will continue to be subjected to safety lapses when the carriers are self regulating and the "regulator" sits behind a computer. The "regulator" will get rid of all the "technical" personnel and replace them with data analysis people.

Hang on to your seats folks, if passed and signed into law, it's going to be a bumpy ride!!
