A-320ceo's can be bought for nearly cost right now as Airbus needs to keep the assembly lines moving until the Neo's ramp up.

We'll see how they handle the electric plane. New plane smell doesn't mean there aren't mechanical things needing looked after. Time will tell if they have the right safety culture.

I'll be damned. Allegiant bought something that isn't 20 years old.

It amazes me that the FAA is looking the other way?

Unfortunately, many of the corrupt, empire building management will retire soon and pass thru the revolving door to the other side as consultants and lobbyist. Quid pro quo is alive and well in the swamp. Succession planning will have the next generation of corrupt managers in place by the time retirements happen. Look at all the former managers coming back to the swamp after four years of industry time away. The good, honest, hard-working field employees have to battle industry, the corrupt agency management and congress. Three on one isn't a fair fight. It's time for the "biggly one" to say "you're fired" to the corrupt "swamp managers" and empower the field so they can serve the public.
