I don't see any blood or feathers, so its quite probable it was some type of drone.

Possible, but swabbing for microscopic DNA in a previous incident with an Aztec proved to be a bird after all.

... it's just a matter of time before a drone hits a plane. Just wonder if it could have been one monitoring the Caravan along the border?? Black ops, spook stuff??!!

I'm surprised that it hasn't been published yet if it was a drone. Hopefully, the rest of the story will be known and released!!

    Big thud!!
Left an 8 cm dent in the leading edge of the 'Bus.
Happy it didn't hit the windscreen!!

I just saw another article on this, and according to it, this plane didn’t fly it’s normal course for landing in Tijuana. Instead it flew into the US over a flight-restricted zone along the U.S.-Mexico border. o_O:eek:

This is getting to be more confusing. I just saw another article that says the normal approach to runway 09 is over the U.S.-Mexico border, and the flight-restricted zone is a restriction on flying drones in that area. So we’ll have to wait and see what really happened. o_O

They’re still investigating this incident. So far no real evidence on what it was that caused the damage.
