Now I know my coworkers used to think I was crazy when Thunderstorms, snowstorms or weather delayed flights and I loved it. That was back when I was an hourly employee and this meant overtime. This guy is just plain crazy.

Sounds like he wasn't the best of mechanics to begin with considering all the mistakes made at Alaska Airlines and just getting a slap on the wrist. And were was the "Regulator" during all this. This guy should not have been any where near an airplane except maybe a model one. Should have had his certification pulled back in 2008.
