    Hello Fellow Airline Lovers,

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of Airnation.net. I wanted to thank everyone who
has supported us. You are the reason that we are still here and growing.

Because of you, we hit almost 1,500,000 page views in this first year. We
had no idea we would do this well. But we have because of your support.

That means a lot to us.

We have much more to come this next year...so stay tuned.

    Thank you. :)

Well thank you very much for giving such fantastic websites (both the normal one and the forum one). This is definitely the best anglophone aviation news website out there.

Thanks to this site. Appreciate having a resource like this where not every 'know it all' tears your head off when show you're not damn expert.

I'm new here and only started posting today and I feel good here.I tried so many other aviation sites and my God,you wouldn't believe, how rude people are there, they are arrogant and really nasty if you don't know it all, pathetic. It's nice to find a forum these days where people are polite and respect each other and don't swear at each other, keep up the good work!

That's our #1 goal here: To foster a friendly environment where newbies all the way to experts can participate in a respectful manner. We moderate the Social Hangar closely and will not tolerate rudeness and personal attacks. As we say, while debates can become spirited it is always possible to be respectful doing it.

I believe that one can dream "small" in aviation too. If it weren´t for the amateur civil pilots, there´d be no commercial pilots because - apart from starting at the AirForce - all pilots start small. Here´s a photo of a training plane made by Lycoming - a Socata TB9 Tampico Club (Aerospatiale) - sitting on the ground at the Herzogenaurach field about 45 minutes by car from Nürnberrg, Bavaria. And while I´m at it, here´s a partial look at the Socata´s instrument panel: P1030380.JPG The plane is built for three passengers plus the pilot.

This is a KLM Cityhopper I was on from Nürnberg to Schiphol (Amsterdam) on the way to Minneapolis/Saint Paul. I had the first window seat visible after the cockpit:D cimg7144c.jpg
