    Yeah, I could land that plane backwards on it, lol :rolleyes:, Be great on a flight sim and nice plane for it. There's actually a You tube ch. of some missionaries that fly into some crazy airstrips on Papau in a Kodiak and the others with 208 Caravans that I stumbled onto. Pilot's a bit of a nerd though. Entertaining to say the least. Weather sucks there on a regular basis.

    Meh... grass strips in PNG present known hazards. I have several friends at MAF and several co-pilots that gained hours in PNG. The risk is mitigated. Only qualified pilots fly there. Performance figures are well calculated. Carry a lot of fuel in the afternoons...

    The dangerous airports are those with hidden risks, the ones that seem easy to GA pilots but continually bite GA pilots.
